Hello folks and welcome back! I trust you all had a good winter holiday! Voices is back with the first in our mini series exploring alternative ideas and models of space programs to the current US Government/Private Market system we have today.
Partially inspired by some of the comments on my last video, I thought it would be fun to get some experts on to discuss other political models, and how space exploration and expansion can exist under their banners.
This week’s guest is Sci-Fi author and space enthusiast Ken MacLeod. He gave a fantastic talk on Space and Socialism (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsYlCln9K7A) and I thought he’d make a great guest for the topic.
So join us as we explore the benefits, pitfalls and questions raised by the idea of a socialist space system.
You can find Ken’s books, the Corporation Wars, over at Amazon – http://amzn.to/2iV1SZG
